The good news is that while I thought I had to stay here until Sunday because of that platelet count, my doc has decided that overall we're better off doing transfusions in the clinic on Friday and Monday (and maybe Wednesday) since platelets are the only things keeping me here, spending night after sleepless night. Awesome compromise right?
So I am outta here tomorrow around lunchtime (the time it takes from rounds until the paperwork is done)
I am excited. I have to be really careful and stay home, germ-free, and not fall down or cut myself, but things are looking good.
