Yesterday I listened to a short web training about interviewing traumatized clients... it started me on a big kick of continuing education... I have been a real life licensed social worker for a while now and it hasn't quite hit me yet that I am doing some real clinical case management! I have an MSW student coming in the Fall, so I am going to spend the next three to four weeks doing some intensive study into trauma theory, crisis intervention, and our preferred MOI 'solution-focused brief therapy'
for my grand social work overhaul of my program, i am going to re-institute eco-maps, process recordings, and all my favorite stuff from grad school! it's gonna be a party!
